Anderson Sworn-in to Represent 36th District
Moline firefighter Neil Anderson was sworn-in to represent the 36th District in the Illinois State Senate on January 14. He was joined by nearly 60 family members, friends, and local citizens traveled to Springfield to watch Anderson be sworn-in.
“I feel incredibly grateful and humbled to be able to serve the good people of the 36th District,” said Anderson. “Ours is a diverse district with everything from farmland to manufacturing, a military installation, and several institutions of higher education. I look forward to working on the issues that really matter to the people of our district.”
Anderson’s wife, Brandi and two children, Steel and Sophia, were at his side on the Senate floor as he was sworn-in.
More than 60 friends, family, and local citizens traveled from the Quad Cities to attend Anderson’s swearing-in.
