Senior citizens will have access to a wide variety of informational resources from local and state groups at a free event being hosted September 7 in Moline by Senator Neil Anderson.
The free Senior Health Fair is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to noon, September 7, at The Moline Club, 513 16th Street (corner of 16th Street and 5th Avenue) in downtown Moline.
More than 35 groups are participating in the Fair.
“The Senior Health Fair is a place for senior citizens and their families to get information about health services, safety matters and recreational opportunities,” Anderson said. “They can meet with friends and neighbors, talk about local issues and get more information about local and state programs and services.”
The Senior Heath Fair will feature free refreshments and informational legislative brochures. Free blood pressure screenings and flu shots (free with Medicare B) will be available.
